Narrow Gate or Wide Gate?

Matthew 7:13-14: “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it. have been thinking about this verse this week. It is so simple. There are but two ways,It dawned on me that I am walking in one of these ways daily. There is no middle way here. This really made me think more and meditate on this more. Jesus makes it so simple and I know that I make it so complex in my own life by not simply following what He says. I want my own way and there is continual war between my soul/my flesh and His Spirit.
It may seem there’s freedom in that way; and stands wide open to tempt us to go our way, walk in the way of our heart, and in the sight of our eyes; there are many paths in it; it leads to destruction. Eternal death, is at the end of it, everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord.”
Narrow Gate: In the narrow way, we must go through a wilderness, self must be denied, the body kept under, no corruptions, daily temptations must be resisted; we must endure hardness, must wrestle, must watch in all things, and walk with care. We go We go through much tribulation. But the end is glorious; we will be united with our Savior!
The matter is, life and death, good and evil, are set before us daily; I have to choose each day which I will walk in.
